Default fuel pump help

Just put a 22 in my hatch everything seems fine, last night the car didn't prime so I put more gas and it primed, now the next day I didn't touch anything and I'm getting only 6 volts at the pump, and I don't hear the main relay clicking but I'm pretty sure that my main relay is fine any reason y I'm not getting juice? I ran straight 12v and it started right up but I don't think the ecu is reading, when I turn the key 2x the cel goes on and then off like normal

you didnt by chance leave the key in the on position in the igniton overnight did you. i've heard from ceartian sources that this has been known to fry the main relay if left on too long. its kind of a longshot, but from what ive seen its a possibility. u said u ran straight 12 v, do u mean from the battery??? if this is so then it sounds like the relay to me since you're not hearing the clicking anymore. if the ecu is in working order and the car starts then the ecu is seeing what
it needs to see, otherwise the pump wouldnt work at all. but you said 6 volts at the pump so its definitely before the pump if you ran 12 v and it started. oh another thing. is it the original pump??you said an h22 into a hatch, the demand for that much more fuel to be pumped to a bigger motor has been known to kill oem pumps quickly, especially old ones. if the car doesnt pull very hard when you smash the gas your p ump might be ready to go caput.
