Default fuel problem?

here's the problem with the car. when i start it up, and i mean every time i start it up, i have to push the gas pedal some to get it started. if i don't it won't start. now at first when i had 310 injectors in it it wouldn't start at all even with some pushing of the gas pedal. i put the stock injectors back on and now i have to push the gas, but it starts. my boy was running the same 310s in his GSR with no prob.
does anybody have any insit on this? fuel pump and fuel filter are like 6 months old.
thanks

This probably doesn't help you any but I've NEVER had to TOUCH the throttle pedal on any honda I've ever owned to get it to start. You are not supposed to give a EFI car throttle on startup. It confuses the ECU. You definately need to get that checked out. That is not a common problem.

with the 310cc injectors installed, you would also need to recalibrate the injector multiplier for these injectors with your Hondata. Also would still suggest tuning since the injector multiplier can cause fuel maps to be off a bit. Especially part throttle tuning and WOT tuning. The injector multiplier is very conservative and is just supposed to be a starting point, not your final stop. Everything has to be tuned just right.

As for swapping back in the old injectors and still having same problem, was Hondata tuned correctly to begin with? Just a thought...

well i had it tuned using the Hondata w/ the 310s installed. i'm not sure if it was tuned for part throttle driving. i know it was tuned for WOT though. once i get my DTR header i'm gonna go back an re-tune. i will pose the question at that time?
thanks for the help.
