Default Fuel Pressure with Vaccum line on?

Hi, I did a search but couldn't find the answer, all your answers had the vaccum line off.

I have a 1999 B18C1 with a B&M FPR hooked up. I have a an autometer fuel pressure gauge hooked up inside my car. What pressure should it be reading at when I'm idleling with the vaccum line on?

well why would you care about the reading with the line on? just take the proper measurement with it off. and no, 48 psi is with it off. my b16 was at 32 with the line on. hope that helped

Most Hondas, including your's, the spec in the books are 40-47 psi. I would set it to 45 and let the obd2 do the rest. That with the vaccum line off. Every engine is different so the vaccum is too. It must be set with the vaccum line disconnected and pluged.

...It must be set with the vaccum line disconnected and pluged.
Otherwise your readings will be useless and inaccurate.

This is correct! Vaccum line from the regulator must be disconnected, and pluged. And according to the Helms manual, the fuel press on a stock B16 is 35-41 psi, where the fuel press for a stock D16A6 is also 35-41 psi.

My question to you is why are you bumping up your fuel press? If you do not have the ablity to make more power (like with bolt-ons, head work, or mod bottom end), then adding more fuel is just making your motor run richer, and giving you shitty gas milage. Will not see any increase in power. To burn more fuel, you need more air.

Below is a example of how fuel press impacts power (if you have the right parts) on stock 244cc injectors.

For 160 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 41 psi on 244cc injector.
For 165 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 43 psi on 244cc injector.
For 170 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 46 psi on 244cc injector.
For 175 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 49 psi on 244cc injector.
For 180 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 52 psi on 244cc injector.
For 185 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 55 psi on 244cc injector.
For 190 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 58 psi on 244cc injector.
For 195 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 61 psi on 244cc injector.
For 200 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 64 psi on 244cc injector.

I would never run my fuel pressures above 60 psi. Besides putting a bigger strain on the fuel pump, you risk the chance of blowing injector seals. As far as running your injectors at higher duty cycles. This can be done, but at risks. As you increase duty cycle, you increase the pluse of the injector...making it run hotter. If abused, you could overheat and lose or partially lose an injector. Remember, if it was design to run that high, Honda would of set it that high.
Here is an example of how get 210 hp off of stock injectors, and the correct way by going out and buying a set of injectors that are matched to the desired HP you are trying to make.

For 210 flyHP @ 100% duty cycle, fuel press @ 45 psi on 244cc injectors.
For 210 flyHP @ 80% duty cycle, fuel press @ 41 psi on 320cc injector.

Well that's about it. Sorry for the book.

What would be ideal fuel pressure at 2400 feet elevation for stock 345cc obd-1 injectors in my jdm h22a?

Keep in mind i use a skunk2 harness adapter..obd-2 to 1...(00 civic).
i/h/e/v-afc/iab removed/70mm t.b.

I have some r/c 320cc's also.I replaced with the stock ones because they were actually bigger.
