Default Fuel pressure regulator

So while working on this bogging issue I found I had fuel pressure set to 42psi at idle no vac on fpr.

Should I bump this to 47-50 psi..
The engine is a B20z.

Also when I put vac on it stays at the same pressure as if I had the vac off?
I read in the FSM it should drop once vac is applied..
This mean I have an fpr issue?

Sounds like either you have no vacuum or FPR is not working. 94

Well I read 44PSI on B20Z is good pressure to run when using LS maps..

I found out today that's 44PSI on vac...
So I turned it up to 51PSI OFF VAC and when I hook it to VAC I get 44PSI...

So lesson learned, and also when you say what fuel pressure your running people say if its OFF or ON vac... ^_^

Mitchell on demand says 37-40 with vaccum
40-42 with out vaccum.

Best of luck. If it smells rich out the tail pipe and is idleing rough it could have a torn diaphram causing gas to dump into intake manifold.

Well, it's all fixed now. I set it to 51psI no vac and that makes it 44psi at vac.
I'm thinking of bumping it a few more psi to help the b20z get more fuel till I dyno tune it.
The b20z needs more fuel than b18b ecu maps can give it.
