Default Fuel Pressure Problems

Whats going on Honda-Tech?? I got a little problem...the car would start idle and run fine...But what I have noticed is that on my fuel pressure gauge, the pressure drops almost 10lbs when I give it throttle from 42 to like 32 or so....I am not having any real driveability problems and I am running a B&M regular mounted to the stock FPR and a Walbro 255 fuel pump witch is a couple of years old, anyone think the Fuel Pressure Regulator is the culprit?...

And has anyone else had this problem before...

Default Re: Fuel Pressure Problems

The pressure drops as more fuel is used by the injectors. The regulator compensates for this by raising the pressure but not quite as quickly as the injectors compensate for the increased airflow. As long as you are running a pretty stoichiometric ratio, there isn't a problem.
