EG hatch, k20z1 boosted. 93 octane
Precision 1000s. aeromotive FPR, golden eagle pro series rail, inline race fuel filter.
When i shut the car off it looses fuel pressure on the guage almost immediately. In my experience its supposed to hold pressure. Guage is off of the regulator. Not sure if theres an issue with the regulator or maybe a sticking injector. Or if its normal. Wondering what i can do to test this. Doesnt really have startup issues like a cylinder is washed down with fuel. Havent pulled the plugs yet to see if a cylinder has gas in it. Car does run a bit rich under power. Tune needs to be tweaked a little bit, but i want to figure this issue out before i take it to the dyno.

Least likely: Injector sticking open
Possible: PR valve not sealing
Most likely: fuel pump check valve (do you even have one? what pump?)
Unless you're bothered by it, this won't hurt anything. Maybe an extra second of cranking to get it started.

a 255 should seal, but it's common for the check valve to go bad.
you can always put one in-line after the pump (but that would cost about as much as a new pump anyway). regardless, this would never stop me from a dyno appt. - tune away!
