Default fuel filter Banjo bolt

I bought a B&m fuel pressure gauge but as I installed it (to B&m's specs mind you) the damn banjo bolt stretched and cracked under only the 15 lbs of torque. My Q is, do I have to get it from b&m directly, or is there some where else online I could pick one up?

Thank

Are you talking about the banjo bolt that goes into the fuel filter.. If thats the one you can just get one from a junkyard.. They probably wont charge you for it either..

Or you can go to slhondaparts.com and get one there..

It is that bolt but the one that comes with the B&M fuel pres gauge.. I checked into getting it from B&M direct and its going to cost almost as much as just buying another kit from JEGS. Any ideas????

Does gas melt JB Weld??? The bolt is just cracked around the threads like it was stretched under torque.

fist off you really dont need to tighten with a torque wrench. justhand tight and about 1/4-3/8 turn after that. second. call the place that you ordered from and complain, they should send you another one.

I went and complained about it being some cheap **** if it can break that easily and they told me that I would have to special order it from the manufacture (b&m) and it would cost me about 3-4 dollars less than buying another kit...I guess those bolts arent something anyone normally orders or stocks.

Next time I will just hand tighten it, f*ck torqueing and breaking another bolt.

Autometer makes that adapter fitting. It's a M12x1.00 (M) to 1/8" NPT (F) brass adapter. It's pretty expensive. You can probably also find one on mcmaster.com.
