Default fuel delivery proplem

First post I have a Honda accord EX 1992. My original fuel pump stopped working, I replaced it with a new that I bought from Ebay. It, more or less, looks exactly the same as my old one. I also changed the fuel filter with a new one. However, the car won't start. When I turn on the car, I can hear the pump working fine. I primed it by turning the key onto the on position flooring the gas without cranking the car. It wouldn't work, after several attempts. There was no fuel going into my fuel filter. I put some gas in the Air air filter and the car would start for about a second. I filled the fuel filter with gas but it wouldn't pump any gasoline into the fuel injector. I took out the gas tank, added some 10 Liter of fuel and connected the fuel pump terminal to the car battery terminal. I can hear the pump working fine but there was no gas coming out from any hose. Do I still have to prime it when it's out of the car? if so then how do you prime a fuel pump that is not connected to the car? Is the pump not strong or powerful to pump out gas? I have spend hours and hours troubleshooting it and I am really stuck. Can any one HELP me?
