Default Fuel Cut?

I have a stock b18c1 in my 93 cx hatch running open header. I put the swap in, wired vtec up, and car ran fine for about three weeks or so. I was at the track a few weeks ago and ran into this problem. When I the launch the car it's fine, going into second their is a slight bog, it picks back up then in third the car begins cutting back really bad. I change my spark plugs and wires and car runs fine again(no bogging, no breaking up). A few weeks later the problem comes back, so i take the car to the shop and get my CEL turned off because it has an o2 sensor code. My mechanic drives the car and it runs fine again, pulls strong. On the way home from the shop I downshift from 5th to 4th and punch it, car seems to have complete fuel cut and it stalls and backfires causing my header to crack a little.

Next day, car pulls strong again. After about few runs down the street the car begins to sputter at around 6k rpm's then the car doesn't go past 7k and the CEL comes on. I turn the car off and let it sit for a minute start it back up and the CEL is off and car pulls normal again. I thought it may be my ecu so I borrow my friends ecu and the car pulls normal again for a couple runs, but goes back to sputtering at 5k to 6k rpms.

What could this problem be? i have a brand new dizzy, spark plugs and wires. It doesn't run bad when driving normally, besides a slight miss. But its really bad when i go full throttle and take it up into the rpms.

Are you running a o2 sensor?? and if you are it is probly bad. Try changing it. Everything you have said is related to a bad 02 sensor. If your not running one try putting one in and see wat happens

Put one it I bet it fix ur problem. U need it to have the car run right if not it will do exactly like wat you said. Google it or search on hear what will happen if u run with no o2 sensor.
