Front hub Q & A
ok i was drilling out of of the stripped screws out of the rotor to take off. when i was drilling the threading got messed up.
Where can i got to get a new fron hub at a decent price <new one> auto zone.
and do you think i can just rethread the hole?

Lots of people don't even use those two screws to hold on the rotor. some rotors don't even have them.</TD></TR></TABLE>
wtf? The rotors are just placed on the hub and not screwed down? That's crazy. Try a junkyard. You'll probably have to get the whole knuckle and remove the hub later.

*shrugs*yup the last cheapy rotors i got to get me to the brake swap didn't have holes. Lots of people on here don't even use them if they had the holes. I have been reading TONS of brake threads.
I went up to honda and the techs there said when they strip the screws the don't even replace them......
good new i don't have to source a new front hub.
BUT....... when my rotor fly's off and kills several pedestrians i will let you know.
