What is the Make, Model & year of your car?
Do you have any engine modifications or is your car stock?
Is your Check Engine Light on?
Is it a chipped or stock P28... we need a bit more info in order to help you out.

Any of these your car 1992-1995 Honda Del Sol Si/Civic Hatchback Si/ Civic EX?

If you turn your ignition to the ACC position with the engine not running do you get a solid CEL? If you do then there is something wrong with the ECU or it's connections.

If the CEL only comes on after the car is running than there is a DIY for reading codes. It is in one of the Civic forums FAQ's. It will show you how to retrieve the code(s) from the ECU. You could also remove the cover from the top of the ECU and see if it's chipped or not. If your not familiar with what a chipped ECU looks like you can take a pic and post it on this thread. That way if your not sure someone one here will be able to tell you for sure.

i can tell you that your ECU isnt chipped.

You know how to pull the CEL code?

if you dont just jump the blue plug next to the ECU. There should be 2 small blue plugs. 1 has 3 wires and 1 has 2 wires.

Jump the one that has 2 wires. If it starts flashing then its a sensor problem BUT if it stays solid then its the ECU.

That's an automatic P28 that looks to have been incorrectly converted to manual. There needs to be a jumper or 0 ohm resistor in RP18 and RP17 needs to be removed.
