Default FPR for bolt-ons ??

Here's the rundown:

2000 Si
AEM CAI
JDM 4-1
A. Teo 2.5" cat
Greddy EVO
VAFC

I'm going back to the dyno in two weeks to retune thanks to the recent header and cat addition. I plan to run this set-up until I get cams, valvetrain, etc. sometime next year.

My question is this ... should I get a fuel pressure regulator before I go back to the dyno? I've read where people have recommended increasing fuel pressure with a FPR and using the VAFC for fine tuning. The first time I tuned (i/e/vafc) we removed fuel in the upper range and added a bit at the cam crossover. The a/f ratio was right on at 13.2-13.4. So, any thoughts or suggestions?? Any help is appreciated.

if you want to tune more on the dyno get cam gears...
it will help more than the FPR...

Cams, gears, valvetrain, etc. is on the list for next year. The plan is to get the $$ together and do everything at once. I'm just trying to figure out some preliminary support mods ahead of time. Dyno time is practically free for me, so it's not a big factor.

with your bolt-ons you should be fine with stock fuel pressure, when you start doing major work (cams, ect.) you should get a fpr, but for now you don't need it. but you should diffentaly get cam gears befor you next dyno sesson to get the most out of tuneing your setup. only 200$ for a pair of skunk2 gears. you should just get them out of the way now because in the future your gnna need them anyways.....

Leave the pressure alone. You already have it setup well. Sometime goods enemy is better. It you add one you're ginna have to redo a lot instead of a little. Just get it and add it to the pile for next years parts.

Thanks for the info/suggestions, guys. I'll just add the FPR to the list of parts for next spring.
