Found sleeve cracks - HELP!
I am changing the headgasket and I looked closer and found this:
first two are 3rd cyl and last is 2nd cyl....

Damn it!!!
Is it ok to put it back together like this or am I royally screwed? How do you go by fixing this? Is the block gone?

thats probably the reason you changed the headgasket in the first place!
those sleeves are toast. sure u can throw it back together and risk some major damage very soon or be happy u caught it before it tore up the head, pistons ect.
sleeving the block is the only way to fix it

It could have been impurities in the actual construction of the block, nothing you could have done to stop it. That is why some last forever under huge loads, and others crack under the wee bittyist of stress.

Details on Benson? I guess there is no point on bringing it back to stock compression? Might as well redo the pistons, rods, etc.....
That would cost a fortune, especially Benson. Probably buying a new block would work better...

Damn Ivan, that really sucks.
If there is anything that I can do for you or if you need any help with anything, Let me know.
Honestly, There could have been many different reasons why you cracked a sleeve, but the #1 Reason is Tuning.

I felt bad when I saw this and since I am such a nice guy I did some searching for you.

If you wanted to, you could just sleeve back to 81mm so you wouldn't have to go with buying new rods/pistons all together. I heard the rule of thumb for boosting that going with 85mm or more on a boosted motor is pushing it. It's been done, but many wouldn't recommend it. Just something to consider.
Dont buy another block, your just going to risk cracking it again. Take it out and sleeve the block, if u really want to u can have just that hole sleeved but i would do the whole thing.
You can get the sleeveing done for $700 or less if u really try. Then you have the question of what size to sleeve at? If u want to keep the pistons you have then u might as well keep the same size, but while you are at it u might as well go 84mm and get some new pistons.
Hey its only money and time right?

LOL maybe if you smear some jb weld on it. Im sorry. I shouldn't be laughing at others misfortune.
I would sleeve it.
I just went to Benson sleeve yesterday and talked to Earl and Dan for about a hour while they checked my friends b18c block that dropped a valve..
Both of them were very nice and straight forward. They now have one of those giant robotic cnc machines that do the machine work for the sleeves too.
Needless to say when I start my build im going there. Here is his sleeve post. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=692320

Those sleeves will not work due to the crack going all the way through the cylinder. M.I.D. sleeve will solve your problem and save your block.
