Default Fouled Plugs!!

Hey guys, yesterday I pulled out my spark plugs and found that there were all covered with a dark black soot. I replaced all of them, and check today to find out they all look the same again.
I'm not sure what could be causing this problem, have any of you guys had a similar problem? Thanks in advance.

What kind of plugs are they? Did you gap them correctly? I'm assuming from your name that you have a GSR...

dont go w/ bosch +4s on a honda, they run too hot, you dont want to warp the head. they work great on mustangs and stuff, but not so good on hondas

Might take a look at your fuel pressure regulator. Could be going bad, and allowing to much pressure to build, causing a rich condition. Otherwise, could be rings or valves seals, or a little of both...

I really don't like the Bosch +2 and +4 plugs. I'm not convinced that they work well at all. I'm using regular Bosch platinums in my turbo car, and factory NGKs in my other cars. What kind of setup are you running? and what part is covered in black soot? the porcelain or the base?

Thanks a lot guys, you've been a big help!!
The whole entir plug is covered in a dry dark black powder.
My setup is a fully built high compression LS/Vtec runing Hondata built by IB.

I was running rich, and Jeff recently sent me another chip to plug into my ECU to solve that problem The day after I plugged in the chip, is when I noticed the change in my plugs. I'm thinking that's the problem of my car alongside a weak ignition system.
I'm considering buying some MSD stuff, and then retuning my car at IB. What do you guys think is a fair price to tune my car?? I built it there and tuned it there so I wouldn't have any problems, but life's never perfect. My car's been running rich eversince I got it back.

I would just stick with OEM... Honda's ignition are really above the "others" out there. Going with MSD, etc... just more for eye candy, unless you are going to be boosting outrages amounts, or a super high C/R....
