The ring gear on my flywheel is messed up. Sometime when i start the car it just makes a funny noise and doesn't start, the starters not spinning the flywheel because the ring gear is messed up. We changed the flywheel and the problem is gone.
Now my question is can i get a new flywheel ring gear for the flywheel. Its a lightened flywheel and i want to be able to use it again. Where would i get this flywheel ring gear? Approximate price?

 

Honda doesn't sell replacement ring gears for their stock flywheels.If its an aftermarket flywheel with a separate ring gear you should be able to get one.Give the manufacturer a call and they can tell you the price.
