Flywheel bearing
im installing my clutch and flywheel and when i opened the flywheel box i noticed the bearing was not in the flywheel but on the alignment tool. do i just use like a rubber mallet to hit it in place or is there some way i have to get it in

they actually do have a special tool to get the flywheel bearing perfectly straight BUT you can get away with the rubber mallet. that's what I did when I didn't have the special tool. just make sure it's perfectly straight and align with the flywheel surfaces.

ya, you can just use a rubber malletm, no point in spending money that could be used elsewhere. You could use that money to get your clutch/brake fluid for your car.
Or a towtruck if u did mess up on your flywheel installation... hahaha jk.

u know what.... get a new pilot bearing from a part's shop.
the one you have maybe the wrong one for it by accident.
because ti should just go in there with a hammer, or hammer and socket... i used a rubber mallet to get it in there...
and then to make sure it was set i used a socket then the mallet.
and it worked just fine.
