Default firewall hole

I was wondering where the firewall hole is located on my 95 accord coupe. I am installing an amp and i need to know where the hole is located around or under the dash area to get to the engine. Thank for your help.

well it may depend on what model you have, but on my rex and most other models it is under the dash on the passengers side. you'll probably have to peel back the top of the carpeting to see it. its where the big-*** harness goes into the engine bay. good luck fiting in any more wires as it is usually packed. another option would be to drill a new hole but be sure to use a rubber grommet otherwise the sharp edge of the firewall with wear through the wire over time and short out!
good luck

the easiest way of running a wire through the firewall is to go under the hood, and look along the section of the firewall that is the closest to your battery. there are rubber plugs in a few spots on the firewall, and one of them should be accesable for you. try and guess where it will come out on the other side before you punch a hole in it. then just run the wire on through the hole and up to the battery. make sure that u dont take off the rubber plug, keep it in place so that the metal wont rub through the wire's insulation and possibly start a fire.
