Clean the engine off then jack up the car, get under it and wait. Or you can lay cardboard underneath to give you the general location of the leak. Initially check the valve cover and headgaskets.

start at the top and work your way down. may have to move some things around to get a better view. Be careful when doing this on a hot engine. I suggest to let the engine cool first. Pay close attention to valve cover gasket and cam seals.

check cam seals on both sides and distributer seal, vtec solenoid gasket and when installing new gasket make sure surfaces are flat and clean so use brake cleaner and a razor blade

i would start by clean the engine really good back and front then turn it on and wait

ok heres what ya do, get under there clean everything. Let the car run for a good few minutes, until you see a drip on the floor. After that get back under the car and blow or throw baby powder at the general location and it should lead you straight to the leak.

Having a similar problem. I wanted to use a steam cleaner but I have no idea where to get one from other than having to actually buy one. What do you mean by when you say to "clean" the oil off. With what exactly?
