Default Final Steps for starting a brand new engine???

Hi I am in the process of finishing my new engine. I have not yet installed the distributor. or put the engine in.

The questions I have are:
1) How should I put the distributor? I don't have its original position. How do I make sure it does not fire at the wrong time?
2) Should I warm up the car 5 minutes to set the distributor on a brand new motor?
3) I've heard that I should leave the plug wires unplugged and crank it a few time to prime the oiling system. Is this correct or is there another method?
4) What fuel pressure should I dial in with the FPR? (10:1 compression d16z6, 77MM)
5) Should I start the engine with a hondata chipped P28 and a Base tune (By Boosted Hybrid), or should I just use my 94DX ecu (P08???)
6) Once broken in, I'll put the turbo on (Open wastegate) and drive to PA to get it tuned (120 miles away)

I will be using non detergent SAE30 Oil (Should it be 5W30ND?) And 91-92 Octane gas (Should I put octane booster in?)

What other precautions should i take when starting up a new motor?

I built the motor myself over the past 6 months. It is my first build, and I have a lot of money into it... so please be helpful
Thanks for the info.

1)Just try to put it as close to center as possible and when you get it running you can set the timing
2)Im really sure
3)Yes you should defeniy prime the motor, also unplug the injectors
4)not really sure what stock fp is for a d-series
5)if your using stock injectors use the stock ecu and dont beat on the car or put any load on it til you get it tuned
6)Id probally recommend to drive it the way it is without the turbo cause a lot of times base maps arent really that good

good luck and if you have any more questions you can pm me

1- as vtec69 said, put it as close to the center as you can and if you hear it knock retard it a lil.
2- Yes, to set timming the car has to be to in operational temp.
3- Just unplugg the dist connectors, they carry the injectors signal, so the injectors won't work, BTW: you have to crank it for a while, so try to take the spark plugs out so your starter gets a lil help. (do you have a oil pressure gauge? if so do it till you get pressure, if you don't just keep doing it till the oil pressure light turns off) also, crank it for like 15 sec and let the starter rest for like another 15 sec and so on.
4- i dunno
5- i dunno

i would get 5W-30 since the first start up is the most critical.
Also, let it idle for a long while. After you start it the first time, look for oil leaks, coolant leaks, etc....
