fields Vtec controller harness
i brought a Fields vtec from a friend... it came with out the harness to the unit it self.... one guy i talk to said you can make your own harness to the unit... will it work if i make my own harness for the unit... b/c Fields stop making there products....
If you are handy with a soldering iron you can solder the wires straight onto the pins at the back of the unit.
Undo the screws and open it up, theres a white plastic bit that gets in the way of the pins so I used my soldering iron to melt this bit off.
When looking at it from the back you will see 16 pins like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16
The numbers correspond to these coloured wires :
1) Red
2) Pink
3) Purple
4) White/Red
5) Brown
6) Orange
7) Blue
8) Black
9) White/Blue
10) Green
11) Light Blue
12) Grey
13) White
14) White/ Green
15) Yellow
16) White/ Black
I don't accept any responsibility if you screw it up but I have had mine working fine like this for over a year now
