I just recieved my fidanza flywheel and Exedy Stage 1 clutch kit. My only concern is that the pilot bearing does not fit snug into the flywheel. I can literally put it in and take it back out with just a poke of a finger.. I know in the instructions it says to add loctite to the outside race of the bearing for a snug fit..But it still leaves me a bit worried. Has anyone else had this problem with success just by adding loctite?? I need some reassurance guys.. and please dont say yeah yeah youll be fine, as this would be a safety issue. Thanks again

i know its not the wrong part.. everything matches up, flywheel to block, flywheel to clutch.. and the pilot bearing is the same size as the one on the old flywheel.. I believe its just an issue with the aluminum. It specifically says in the instructions that the bearing might not fit like OEM but can be fixed my adding loctite around the outer race.. My question is did this happen to anyone else and what was the outcome? Or, if i do use the loctite what can i expect? Is it going to last? Or should i use it for a temporary fix..?

pilot bearing came with the exedy clutch kit.. i also tried the pilot bearing that was on my OEM flywheel.. no such luck any other ideas? anyone? ..before i open the loctite
I can't really comment on what will happen to yours if you go with it as is, but just FYI my fidanza B-series flywheel fit snugly when it was new. The pilot bearing definately would not just fall out if pushed by hand. Have you called Fidanza? They seem like good people and would be the most knowledgeable about something like this
OP,
I just got a fidanza flywheel and i tried to install the pilot bearing and at first it went on pretty easy and i could poke it right out with just a little force. I took it out and put it back on about 3 or 4 times and now its snugged in threre. I push with all my strength and it wont budge.
When i first put it on and in went on easy i got scared cause i didnt want the same thing that happened to you to happen to me. How long have you been running the flywheel now, and what did you end up doing?
