Default Faulty oil pressure sender??

Hi H-T's

I have a digital blue oil pressure and boost gauge combo from glowshift. Just last month, the oil pressure gauge started to read 5-8psi when the engine is off and oil is at warm temp. At idle it would read 20-25psi of oil pressure when normally it is 10-16psi. Is this faulty pressure sender??

Oil is Royal purple 5-30W, used to run 10W-40 but no difference. I'm running it off a sandwich plate and currently using an oil filter with anti-drain back valve.

Thanks in advance in any opnions.
