is there a fast idle valve on a d16y8, i cant seem to find mine (but i think this may be the answer to my idleing problems). pictures would be great!

 

I'm not positive cuz I don't work with SOHC's that often but check the bottom side of the throttle body... It'll have two hoses connected to it... One off the head and the other traces to the IAC... Some newer motors do not have them and for you I really don't know... Good Luck

 

hmm i cant seem to locate it on my car..i know where and what one looks like on a b-series so im not really sure if i have one. there are 2 lines that go into the bottom of the tb but its all one piece. btw my car is a 00
