Default F20b bluetop H2B ecu help

so i currently have an f20b bluetop with an h2b kit...on a 99 gsr tranny in my eh2 94 hatchback....nothing special just an intake and open header....now the thing is i am running on a virgin p28 ecu.....dont get me wrong its fine and pulls pretty hard just the rev limiter is around 7,400rpm-7,500rpm....cant really tell....and i know this motors is a high revving motor that red lines at 8,200.......would it make a diffrence either with a p72 gsr ecu or a jdm h22a ecu......i know most of you all will say chip your ecu and tune it....but right now xmas is around and all...dont have much cash....what do you all recomend me to do....which ecu should i be using for now?

I would just go to houston and get it tuned... Its not much. and ur car will run a hell of alot better. But yea a gsr ecu prolly run better then a p28.

Just get the p28 chipped with a stock f20b basemap. My roommate Bense actually ran a stock H22 basemap, which worked fine. Last time I checked having a ECU chipped with a basemap of your choice was only like 70 bux.

Also be careful revving that motor. If it's an automatic motor (which most are) the valvesprings are pretty weak, and I wouldn't rev it much past 7,500. If It's a 5spd motor the cams and valvesprings are better.
