Extrude Honing
There is a process done by a company called extrude Honing.
http://www.extrudehone.com/powerflow.html
This process uses a slurry that is ran trough a metal surface, in this case round or oval such as the INtake manifold and will leave a mirror like surface. I was told that this process can yield a lot of power and as mentioned in many threads when the surface that air passes on is smoother it can yield less turbulance at high RPMs.
Any comments on this process?
Anyone have had first hand experience and for what application?
Thanks
