Default Quick Tire question...

Is a 205/40 profile tire ok for 16" wheels for daily driving? The reason i ask is they're going to be mounted on stock rsx wheels for daily driving. The rims will be on an ITR and i plan on using the wheel/tire combo for a long drive from socal to Seattle, WA. just curious to know if this size is safe and if i have anything to worry about. Thanks for any help

sounds good.
should be a 22.46" total height by my calcs.
go measure your whee well to the ground and see how that compares.
youll probably have rubbing issues. but dont we all.

There will be no rubbing issues whatsoever. That tire is about 1" smaller diameter than the stock tire size (195/55-15) on the ITR. All that will happen is that the speedo will read faster than you're actually going.
