the explenation for what years and models are vtec and non vtec with civics
i need to find out if my civic is vtec or not because it does not say it on the valve cover?? can someone explain the whole reason for this or give me a site that will explain it for me??

Just look for the VTEC solenoid on the back of the head, since I'm assuming it's a single cam, it should be on the distributor side.
