Default Experiences with Exedy clutches.....

Planning to get a Exedy Cerametallic thick plate clutch or an ACT extreme w/ street disc. I have had the ACT before and didn't have any problems but costs a lot more than they used to.

What has everyone's experience been like with the Exedy? What is driveability like in stop and go traffic? How much power will it hold? Goal is 350whp on new block and need something to hold the power. Thanks.

I just bought an Exedy racing clutch about 3 weeks ago and I love it so far

For $300 you can't beat it...

I'm happy with mine on my d-series, though it chatters a little. Going to try an ACT on my next one.

Chatter is usually due to an uneven/warped flywheel. Did you resurface your flywheel after the clutch install?
