Default exhaust systems

I have a apex ws catback system, just wondering if its possible to change just the muffler to another apex or other brand muffler.. will mix and matching pipes and mufflers affect performance?

Dont get me wrong, the WS is great, but even some of my friends cars stock exhaust are louder at times.. Its great tho when a cop car pulls up next to me and i drive off and i dont catch their attention with my exhaust

Hew dogg Changing the muffler alone shouldn't be a problem...Some mufflers are better than others though so choose wisely grasshopper! As long as the piping is the same diameter it won't make a difference as far as piping is concerned. Just make sure that it is 2' to 2 1/4 in diameter. Hope this helps

doesn't necessarily need to be louder some mufflers really do make more power.
