Exhaust problems
Well, I seem to have a leak before my resonator from it scraping on speed bumps. I'm gonna get out the welder once it warms up a bit. The problem I'm noticing is that I hear a lot more gurgling from the rear. I thought it was the heat shield, but took it off to test...I've got a greddy sp and it is nearly 4 years old now. Is it possible that the muffler is getting fubar? How can one tell if the muffler itself needs replaced. I went to a muffler shop and they told me that all Greddy's start to sound like that after a while. Any other greddy owners want to comment on any strange exhuast noises.
Also, this seems to be noticed at only low revs. i.e. starting the car, intial acceleration, deceleration...

Gurggling?
I do that too....I like it though. Sounds like unburnt fuel to me.
I'm weird.
N-E-Way, the muffler will rattle and rust open, that's when it's time to replace it. Inspect your Resonator when you take if off and look at how much rust is in there.

will do. I think I got a leak at my straight pipe too. So I'll take it off and pound it a bit. If the muffler is bad...what to replace it with. I beleive greddy doens't sell individual mufflers....hmmmm....time for a twin loop.
