3" exhaust with Evo muffler
what do you think? I really like the look/sound of my greddy evo but I think I may want to go full 3"(dp back) and was thinking of just keeping my evo muffler since I like it. Its pretty big and it actually flares (just past the axle) to a larger size(just over 3" outer i/d) so Im thinking I should be ok with it. Its straight through aswell so I imagine it wouldnt hurt.(and if so not very much at all)
any suggestions or ideas?

Re: 3" exhaust with Evo muffler (SiRkid)
The evo won't even fit on my car, but I have one. Thats how much I like it. No muffler suppresses the high frequencies like the evo (a lot of composite blocks with steel wool on top of perforated core).
Where it starts to flare out, I think thats where the perforated core starts. I remember seeing a full sectional view of the axle-back years ago on the back of a magazine (Turbo or ImportTuner), and Im 75% sure the perforated core started a couple inches before entering the muffler.
I know if I don't tie onto the 3" part for my setup, it'll be too restrictive for the turbine.
