exhaust leak...

i just got custom pipe for my exhaust . but how can i tell if i got a exhaust leak??

you can hear a hissing sound, or air blowing out, it should be pretty noticeable, if you step on the accelerator

not necessarily..i got a jdm 4-1 and it hisses like a snake when i step on the gas.. no leak watsoever..
