ok im not sureif this is the right place so if its not please point me towards the right forum!!!

i replaced the headers on my b18c , but they were to long so i went over the the muffler shop had the guys cut the exhaust shorter and weld it !!! here is the thing , it has no CAT just a pipe welded in its place .. BUT its missing the springs that go in the middle of the 2 bolts that hold the pipe(WERE THE CAT is suppose to be) to the header ... will this make it have an EXHAUST LEAK??? it was ok on wed when it was done but now its leaking like crazyyyyyyy , im going back tomorow but i know its gona be a mission cause the GUY gave me a LECTURE on how it NEEEEEDS to have those springs ,!!!
