i have a 00 dx coupe with dc jdm 4-1 headers with skunk2 exhaust.... the headers have a 2.5 collecter......ok now i sold my exhaust and my friend has a oem type r exhaust in his backyard..... now my question is will the type r exhaust bolt up 2 my headers....i know i need a test pipe but if i do get a test pipe wood it fit perfect besides i have 2 add a piece in the muffler?

 

and wood i also feel a big power loss since the headers are 2.5 and type r exhaust is 2.25?.........

I did that with my civic si. I had dc sports jdm 4to1 and a race cat. It will work in a pinch but I wouldn't suggest it if you don't put some sort of flex pipe in between. Mine was a tight fit with no flex pipe but now I'm worried about the header bolts possibly breaking

 

how much do flex pipes go 4?....so it will bolt up?

 

ok 2mm im taking it w the muffler shop..... will i feel a big performance loss by adding the oem type r piping 2 with the dc sport jdm 4-1 headers with a 2.5 collector even tho the piping is 2.25? also one of my friends told me it wood come out alot cheaper if i buy the flex pipe at autozone and take it 2 teh muffler shop...can anyone tell me if it wood make a difference....i know ill probably hear vtec alot loud since im using oem piping.....
