Default exhaust clamp torque spec

i didn't know where to post this . but i can't seem to find the answer anywhere on the web .

i recently bought a 2.5" ss slip-on exhaust system supplied with some exhaust clamps shown above . and i wanted to know if anyone knew if there is a torque spec for an exhaust clamp ? i know i need to crush the pipe but i don't want to overtighten it and possibly cause damage to the pipe .

I think there really isn't a torque spec for those kind of clamps. You just tighten them down enough to crush the pipes a little to get a seal.

Yea, just make it tight. Make it snug and just don't gorilla tighten it. You aren't going to break it unless you go totally crazy on it.
