Exedy vs ACT clutch
What's up guys, debating between an Exedy organic clutch and an ACT unit. I'm pretty settled on the ACT xACT street flywheel (12.5lb) just needa make the choice on clutch. Would the ACT one be better since i'd be using an ACT flywheel? Mainly looking for personal testimonys. Thanks
I am using an Exedy Organic w/ CM flywheel and it is holding up for me. Although, I am not making mega power.

ACT is an upgrade
Exedy is a stock replacement, expect of it what you would of a stock clutch

All clutch manufacturers use stock pressure plates and then rebuild them and make them stronger. If you see the EXTREME ACT...and even the better ones, the PP looks like a stock on just beefed up.
EXEDY is the only clutch manufacturer that makes their own pressure plates. If you see the multi-disc high horsepower clutch system from EXEDY you'll understand why EXEDY is actually better then all the rest.

every exedy i have ever seen has failed. I would never buy one nor would i
recommend one to anybody.
Their line about the best selling clutch in japan is a joke. THey only sell the most
because they are so damn cheap all the auto mfgs buy them for stock clutches.
Nobody uses exedy for aftermarket.
