I'm using a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. The grip is nasty! It is rated to hold 290 hp at the flywheel with a 90% over stock grip. They used to have them on their website for around $220 for a D series and around $400 for a B series clutch.
I am using the Exedy Organic on my built crvtec. So far so good...12,000mi and counting. My next clutch will probably be an ACT Extreme Street/Strip w/ 2600# p/p.

I just bought an Action clutch....great price and performance. The Exedy isn't worth the money.

i got an Exedy organic and i think its definitely worth the price. i used to have an ACT heavy duty and IMO it requires too much pedal effort. so i went with the Exedy organic and it grips well, has smooth engagement, and it holds nicely. i like it

are you speaking from experience or do you just like your Action Clutch?

i have an exedy and its worth every penny. its a great clutch for an excellent price. perfect for street use.
i have a stock 00 si and exedy sucks... it grips worth **** and wish i wouldve spent the extra hundred to get a real clutch... it chatters and rides.. what a piece..
I've had an ACT HD PP/Street disc, an ACT Extreme PP/Street disc, and an Exedy Organic on my 00 Si, and I have had the best experience with my Exedy. You can't beat the price and the pedal feel is great, especially if you live in an area with traffic. But I do think The ACT HD grabbed better than the exedy, and the extreme grabbed real good! But the pedal feel is important to me because of traffic. Good luck on your decision!

i was using a act 6puck for daily driving and it was cool except in traffic but now i have a act 4 puck with stock pressure plate.. i like the setup i have now it grabs yet the pedal is still soft.. but i think i will be goin back to the act 6 puck.

From all the other responces I've read, it sounds like you dont know how to install a clutch.

Jeff-
I've been running the ACT street/strip clutch, with extreme pressure plate, and its way too stiff. its not really needed since i'm running pretty minor mods. now i'm installing a clutchmasters stage 1 setup. act was good, just way to stiff for daily driving. i've heard many good things about clutchmasters so hopefully all goes well with it.
my flywheel was resurfaced and my car felt fine with the stock clutch.. this is my personal opinion that exedy sucks from my PERSONAL experience, i can't wait to get this pos out of my car and in with the act xt/ss... GO TURBO!
btw..turbo is not in yet, so dont even say it has anything to do with boost either you excuse makers

i have had way too many bad experiences with ACT, first of all, there is way too much pedal pressure, and second, there is a lot of "chatter" when engaging under certain circumstances. my friend has the 6 puck race clutch from ACT, and it blew his clutch slave after one week of operation. i dont know about exedy, but i would rather have anything than my ACT.
