Default EVAP and IAT

Been doing a lot of reading and researching, i think my problem is that i have me EVAP and IAT Sensor wires crossed, can anyone tell me how to check this problem?????

here is my problem

running LS/Vtec w/ obd2-obd1 jumper

with virgin JDM P72 OBD1 ecu hooked up it runs fine just pulls knock sensor light every once in awhile

with 2 different USDM P28 obd1 ( 1 chipped on was not) they both immediately started smoking - literally started smoking,

this tells you right here. its pretty common.. they are switched.
