Default e.s. mufflers??

I was checking out jdmhondaparts.com and noticed a new muffler that they were selling made by a company called E.S. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this company and also who has one on a integra? How does it sound? Thanks in advance.

es mufflers are good. and if you go with the oval one, you'll have a nice sleeper look.... if that's your taste of course

Yeah that's the style that jdmhondaparts is selling for like $99. I like how it looks like the stock muffler, that's why I'm thinking of getting it. Plus, I noticed the no tip deal!! I'm getting kinda tired of the huge tip I have on my Apex-i. Do any of you guys know what it sounds like? I would like it to be loud only at WOT. Thanks in advance.

i heard it on Sheng's black hatch (before he sold it)...sounded mellow at idle, and assume roars at WOT ( this was with jdm header, no cat )

the oval style is clean and isnt too loud. it has 2.5 entrance ideal for 2.5 piping.

Do you guys know if they have a shop or something. Maybe they can do custom exhausts.

Actually I own an ES Oval Muffler, and contrary to popular belief they are 2.25" STRAIGHT THROUGH mufflers that are NOT N1 style. The ES Muffler is just a regular oval shapped straight through muffler. The one I have on my 2000 Civic Si has an offset inlet and center outlet @ 2.25". I know there may be different sizes/styles.

There's a shot of Gene's ES on his Teg.

There it is on an Johnny's EK.

Sorry, no pics from mine I got custom 2.5" pipping all the way back to it with a Dynomax Bullet Race muffler for a resonator. In my opinion, that **** is ******* DEEP. Slightly louder than my old Thermal Stealth...but it sounds sooo perfect. Has a bit of a growl to it...and when VTEC hits...you can hear it running through all 2.5" of my pipping...wow.

I love my ES muffler...because everyone always goes, "Damn, when you going to get an exhaust?" and then I say..."Take a look under the car" and then they are like, "HOLY ****!!! That pipping is huge...THAT IS AWESOME"

Get a GOOD shop to build your system, and your golden...I love my setup.

Do you know if they make a 3" one? I'm still debating if i want to go turbo or N/A. But I want an exhaust that looks almost stock. The pic of Genes car is why I wanted that style of muffler. Thanks for the help guys.

I tell ya what dude...

if you want 3"...go snag a Bullet muffler. They make mufflers that look EXACTLY the same...only a little more polished (at least i think so)...

You used to be able to pick them up at carparts.com...but now that those FUCKTARDS bought them out...I dont know if you can still get them from them. Anywho...they are called BULLET Exhaust...and you can get them in 3" as well as MATCHING 3" resonators...

Think of how SWEET that would look with a lil muffler and a MASSIVE 3" short stuby tip comming out...******* AWESOME...

oh yeah, **** jay dee em
