Ericks Racing setup??
i know they probably want to keep it secret, but no hurt in trying. i've heard they were using a gsr manifold on their worlds fastest na honda. they probably aren't running the secondaries and they're using 85 mm bore. im just curious on what they did for "modifying" the gsr manifold. tia
it's not to secret to know! let s just say do you guys really think he runs a dc header and a gsr manifold? if you guys thought so I should just shut up now! his set up is still gzr! crank! ( that's why his torque curve is smoother then those people running ls cranks in there gzrs! he runs a sms header and ITB! lets just all know he knows his **** and he is now the fastest all motor unibody honda! **** that $16000 sequential tranny must be nice! there is a guy who hit a 10.3 all motor but damn mags always take so long to print there **** and when they do they dont know what the **** they are talking about!

I took some pics yesterday and he still had the GSR IM on it
the fist time I saw his car was in march and that was the first thing I noticed I would love to know haw he does it

What if he just opened the manifold so that both the primaries and secondaries are open at all times. Is that possible? Sorry my spelling may be a little off.

if you open up a gsr IM...
you'll see the secondaries, now imagine shaving all of it...... yes i mean boring the inside and making it one big chamber....... now you see why he says it flows better then a type r IM... you can't bore out a itr IM more then what it all ready is....

I saw his car at LACR a few weeks ago, he DID have the GSR manifold on.

Saw Eric run 10.70's and 10.80's in Phoenix this weekend. He still runs the gsr mani but all his other cars were using JG Edelbrock manifolds. Could it be the future?
The thing that impressed me about his car was actually the tranny. He uses all 5 gears on a run and sound like he is going thru the lights in excess of 10,000 rpm in 5th gear. The syncros must be dog cut as the shifts were quick as an automatic.

haha interesting theories in his setup! he makes 247 to the wheels! only 2 more whp then a homie of mine! not to meniton weighing in at 1600 pounds with driver! ever see his car at the track with his hood up?
