Default engines turn backwards?

I was having trouble setting up the timing belts. Intake, compression, power, exhaust...it did not look right...then it dawns on me this engine turns counter clockwise. Is this true of all Hondas? It is a 1993 accord. Back in my mechanic days I remember the Fiat 600 was the only counter clockwise engine. Just seems weird to me!

Many of the newer Hondas engines (i.e. K-series) have switched to CW. Most older Honda engines (i.e B-series) are CCW.
