Default Engine won't start when hot

My engine won't start after its been taken out and after its been warmed up. It cranks but won't turn over. So i figured i'd try the engine coolant sensor. SO i un plugged that sensor and the car started right up. So my ? is the sensor bad or what. How do i test the resistance of the sensor??? -thanks
