Default Engine types?

Hi, as most of you can see I am extremely new to this forum (with my big 1 post). I was wondering if there is a web site available that explains what all of the different engines are out there that are commonly swapped in place of the stock engines. Like what they came out of originally, how much hp / torque they have, and what the engine code is. If anyone knows of a site or link to a forum thread, can you please post it? Thanks.

PS: I might buy that gold 1990 CRX in FL with the B18c swap.

I know it's odd, but I just sold my big-block 402 muscle car and am looking for a Civic/CRX now. Total change in direction, I know.
