Default engine swap w/ auto

Hey call me crazy, but I love my sister's lil' auto civic 93' hatchback. I want to buy one as an everyday beater sooo is it possible to swap like a b18 or any of the other b series motor into an auto civic such as my sister's? I'd love a beater, but I at least want a lil umph.

I don't think this is a bad idea. I'll get the ball rolling. You want an OBD1 B-series auto tranny, because it operates differently than the OBD2 tranny.

I'm not sure if the tranny computer lives inside the ecu or not. How I THINK it works is that on OBD1 it is a secondary computer, and on OBD2 it is inside of the single ecu.

You can get auto trannies from LS integras, and from GSR and B16 (over in japan) There is rumor of a LSD GSR (auto) tranny from japan.

Most of the wiring should be about the same when you do the swap.

anyone feel free to correct me on anything I got wrong.
