Default Engine Swap or Not

So i have seen a million pics of del sols mine has a vtec stamp on the engine supposedly it shouldn't if is a del sol s from 1993 am I looking at an original motor or a swap? I haven't seen a vtec stamp on any engine of a 93 del sol I have seen so far.

find the VIN on the engine and compare it to the VIN on the car. They should match. if they don't, then you know what that means.

Del Sols came with 3 different motor options, a single-cam non-vtec, a single-cam vtec, and dual-cam vtec. Also, on the engine block you will find a D16y(x) or a B16A(x)... the (x) represents a number.
