im a newbi just started geting into cars and how they work any ways i was wondering if any one new appoximently how much an engine swap would cost a price range

 

depends on what motor and car you plan to do the swap in. if its just a straight swap, it can go anywhere from $1000 - $5000. this of course is an estimate. that is of course you do not have the hookups. i heard of people getting motors for cheaper than what it goes for. but labor should run you a good bit as well. what exactly are you looking to swap the motor into?

 

What kind of car? What kind of engine you looking into swapping into it?

 

this is probley a newbi idea but i was hoping to rice up a 912 porsche it is a really old car and im hoping to completely remodel it bodykit new paint etc. i don't really kno wat engine im looking for since the 912 has small engine space n e suggestions
