Default Which cam is the best for a bolt-on D16?

I was leaning toward the Zex street cam but they make a street/strip one too. Also Skunk2 and Crower make a SOHC D16 cam. Which one is better for a bolton 99 OBD-2 EX? Is one more easy to tune than another? I guess I'll use crower springs. Can I reuse my stock retainers, or are they a wear item as well? Thanks

What duration and overlap are we talking here? It depends on your plans in the future. A stock cam does pretty well with turbo applications.. Better than an aftermarket cam would anyway. Backpressure is a bitch. But, for just the usual bolt on's I'd go with Crane or Crower.. D16's respond well to a 265 duration cam.. Pulls good about 4K-7500rpm, I have a crane with 265 duration and it's fun. It compliments the bolt ons... And it does wear well as far as I can see.

I don't remembet the specs off hand. Looking for little lowend loss and good midrange and topend improvment. How hard to tune was your cam?
