Default Engine shaking while starting!

I have a 98 CRV engine that shakes and jumps really bad during a cold start. I dare not keep it running and shut it off. I added oil since it was low and it fixed the problem for about a week. It happened again today when i was trying to start it., any clues on what it might be?

I had the same problem about a month ago...my clutch pressure plate was cracked, and so when the engine was cold, the clutch would not fully disengage. Eventually the clutch broke completely into little shards and the car wouldn't go into gear at all. This may be your problem if you have a manual and have had your clutch for a while.

I brought it to the shop and checked the engine codes. It happend to be that the cylinders were misfiring. I changed the plugs and wires which helped for now, but let's see if it will last. Thanks for your replies!
