Default Engine Shaking when getting on or off throttle. Any thoughts?

When getiing on or off throttle suddenly the car shakes like the engine is moving. That said I am not convinced that is exactly what is happening. I have checked all motor mounts and found the rear one to be cracked. I replaced it but the problem is just as noticable as before.

I have searched to see what other people might have experienced but nothing useful came up. I recall reading that this sort of backlash could be caused by weak springs in the clutch disc. I have an ACT HDSS clutch and it only has 12,000 miles on it so that seems a bit odd but I am short on other explanations.

Another side note that makes me think it is likely not the mounts is the fcat that there is absolutely no movement in the sifter itself and there are no clunking noises.

My best guesses to date are

Motor Mounts broken
Clutch Disc Springs weak
Axels worn out

Anyone have this problem?

i have that problem but its because my front mount is cracked. the only thing i can think of is that one or more of your motor mounts is f*cked. have someone look at your engine while you pull the side brake and give it a little gas and let the clutch out just hard enough for the car not to move. they should be able to track the problem down in no time at all. just try not to run em over.

side brake?

There is no visible engine movement when revved. I've changed the only damaged mounts.

Do you have any thing else done to the car. I sell these things and have heard from good Honda techs that the clutches can cause a shaking or vibrating in the car if the car is a daily driver without any thing done to the car. Remember you put a clutch in there with, if I remember right, 40-50% more clamping force than stock, so your clutch is alot stiffer or stronger than factory. If you do have other things done to it you may want to contact ACT about it and see what needs to be done.

ATS Final drive, Stock cams, Icebox, Toda header, Hondata.

It isn't a shaking it is more of a shifting and even descirved as a flop only under quick throttle or letting off throttle suddenly

put the motor under a load by doing what i previously stated and you migh see it. revving it under no load might not be enough.

no check eng light? did you try stepping on the clutch and reving it to see if it still does the same problem. cuz if u step on the clutch pedal u take off the clutch from the flywheel maybe that can help you eliminate one of your possibilities of being a clutch problem.
thats just my thought
