Icon2 Engine Rods

here's some info on my short block..

I have a darton sleeved ls/vtec with forged 9:1 84.5mm JE pistons, Eagle H beam rods, stock ls crank, and a golden eagle girdle..
The engine spun the #3 rod bearing and started knocking due to poor lubrication..

The engine makes 332whp 242wtq with a small turbo.. after the engine is rebuilt and broke in i will be buying a new turbo setup shooting for the 500whp.

My question is will it be ok to have my rods resized or should i just order a new rod?

If you guys need any more info or have any advice for me please reply back!

It would depend on how much damage was done to it. How hot it got and how much of a beating it took. A machine shop would be able look it over, measure it, and advise you.

how doe the crank itself look after this? resizing rods and going to an oversized bearing is stupid and dangerous IMO

I replaced the bad rod then had them all balanced and resized.

I also ditched the bad crank.. i will be using a shaved and balanced standard size crank.

HAHA you sound like me when I first started on hondas..." What do ya mean I cant just resize and get a .10 oversized bearings? WTF is the color code BS?" haha anways I would have the machine shop check the rod and be sure its not egg shaped, and if its within spec run with it.
